In my conversation with Marco Ciappelli on the Redefining Society Podcast, we extrapolated that if finance is going to become personalized, several other significant areas in society will become personalized:
● Anything that can be digitized can be financialized. As more aspects of our lives become digitised, they can be turned into data and financialised.
● Assets will become ephemeral, and shorter-term ownership and sharing will gain prevalence. Younger generations are inclined to own assets for shorter periods, viewing them as fashion statements rather than lifelong commitments.
● Both individuals and the banking industry must embrace these changes in the industry and adapt to the evolving landscape of finance.
