The following is an online conversation I had with alumni members of my university alma mater the National University of Singapore. Because the meeting was put together by my dearest friend, Choo Meng Foo, he wanted the title to be focused on something to do with design and structures, topics that were of interest to his architect friends. My book “The Great Transition – the personalization of finance is here” was focused on developments in the finance industry, but it is clearly based on the transitions taking place in society, driven by the same technologies., so that it was not difficult for me to expand my observations beyond finance. Some of the participants were prominent archtects working on city planning and other projects with a social dimension.
